How Does In Home Care Work?
Little Poppins is an approved provider of In Home Care through the In Home Care Support Agency. For eligible families, In Home Care is a government subsidised program for families who are not able to access mainstream childcare services. The care is provided in the families’ home by an approved educator / carer.
Little Poppins works closely with families to find you the right educator to suit your needs.
Government Funding
If you meet the In Home Care criteria outlined below you may be eligible for government assistance to meet your in home child care costs where are mainstream child care services are not available:
  • parents or carers are working non-standard or variable hours, outside normal child care service hours
  • parents or carers are geographically isolated from other types of approved child care, particularly in rural or remote locations
  • the family has challenging or complex needs, including where families are experiencing challenging situations, and other approved child care services are not able to meet the needs of the child or the family.
