Little Poppins is a trusted, approved provider of In Home Care (IHC) - a government-subsidised home based childcare program designed for families who are unable to access traditional childcare services.

Delivered by qualified Educators in the comfort of your own home, IHC offers a personalised, flexible alternative for families facing unique challenges.

As a registered provider through the In Home Care Support Agency, Little Poppins takes a hands-on, family-first approach - getting to know your situation in depth and carefully matching you with a professional Educator who delivers safe, consistent, and responsive care that fits seamlessly into your family routine.

  • Our In Home Care funded services are tailored to support children and their families across a range of needs. We provide:

    • Qualified, experienced Educators matched to your family

    • Flexible care options, including early mornings, evenings & weekends

    • Ongoing support from our local office and dedicated Educator Support Coordinators

    • Approved provider under the In Home Care Support Agency

    • Children aged birth to 18 years

  • This program may be suitable for families who:

    • Work non-standard or irregular hours

    • Live in rural, regional, or remote areas

    • Have a child or family member with complex needs

    • Are unable to access existing local childcare services

How to apply for In Home Care (IHC)

  • Begin by downloading the official In Home Care (IHC) Application Form. This form collects information about your family’s circumstances to assess eligibility for IHC.

  • Once the form has been filled out, email the completed PDF form along with all necessary supporting documents to the In Home Care Support Agency at: info@ihcsupportagency.org.au

  • Once your application has been assessed, the In Home Care Support Agency will notify you of the outcome via email.

Your Educator, Our Employee

  • All Educators are employed by Little Poppins - they’re not contractors.

  • We manage all employment obligations, including superannuation, insurance, and Workcover.

  • Care is available any time or day, with penalty rates between midnight–6am and on Sundays.

  • Remote Educators are supported by a dedicated Educator Support Coordinator
